Carolyn Christie-McAuliffe is an accomplished healthcare professional, blending extensive clinical experience with academic expertise. With a PhD in Nursing from Binghamton University, and a BS/MS in Nursing from the State University of New York, her educational background emphasizes health promotion/disease prevention. She has held numerous roles in both clinical practice and academia, fostering an integrated, patient-centered approach that combines conventional and complementary medicine.

Her career spans leadership roles in both clinical and academic settings, emphasizing holistic, integrative care that addresses the root causes of illness. As the founder of Integrative Practitioners, she has built a practice centered on empowering patients through personalized, holistic health that incorporates both conventional and complementary treatments. Her approach to care fosters deeper patient-provider relationships, supporting individuals in making impactful lifestyle, dietary, and behavioral changes.

Carolyn has extensive teaching experience at all levels of nursing education and though she has retired from academia, she continues to serve as a preceptor to undergraduate and graduate students of nursing, medicine, physical therapy, and nutrition. She has served as the Director of Research and Compliance Officer, IRB Chair, and has spoken extensively to professional and lay audiences about research, integrative medicine, and health promotion. Carolyn has authored several chapters, articles, and books on compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care. She has led international public health initiatives in St. Lucia and El Salvador and volunteered at the Syracuse Rescue Mission, creating an on-site clinic and serving on their Board of Directors. 

With numerous publications and dedication to health equity and preventive care, she brings an unwavering commitment to fostering a healthcare system that is intelligent, patient-centered, accountable, and solution-focused. Her multifaceted background ensures patients receive both evidence-based and integrative approaches tailored to their unique needs, advancing the quality of healthcare through education, research, and clinical innovation.

Carolyn lives in Skaneateles, NY with her husband Chris, and is the proud parent of two sons and two golden retrievers. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning new crafts, listening to and playing music, as well as gardening and hiking.
